282Kent County Court Proceedings, 1668-1671.







           Liber C Know all men by these prsents that I George Yate of the County
               of Ann Arrondell in the Prouince of Maryland gent: haue ordayned
               & made & in my stead & place by these prsents Putt & Constituted
               Robert Willson of the County aforesd gent: my true & Law full Attor
               ney for me & in my Stead & name but to the use & benefitte of him
               the said Robert Willson to take recouer & receiue of George Harris
               of the County of Kent Plantr One thousand pounds of tobacco in
               Caske which he the sd George Harris stands Indebted to me as by one
               bill beareing date the 17th day of August 1669 it doth & may more
               playnely appe Giueing & by these prsents Granting unto my said At
               torney my full power & Law full Authority in the prmisses to do say
               performe conclude and Finish for me & in my name as aforesd all
               & euery such Act & Acts thing & things deiike & detilces in the Law
               whatsoeuer for the recouery of the same as fully Largely & amply
               in euery Respect as I my selfe might or Could doe If I were Par
               sonally prsent & upon the receite thereof Acquitances or other dis
               charges For me & in my name to make seale & Deliuer, Ratifleing
               alloweing & Confirmeing whatsoeuer my sd Attorney shall Lawfully
               doe or cause to be donn in or about the exeqcon of the Premisses by

                 Whereas Henry Coursey Esq hath made appeare that there is due
               unto him out of the Estate of Capt John Vicaris Late of this County
               Deceased Eight hundred Twenty and eight pounds of Tobacco: This
               Cort doth ordr that Present Payment be made out of the estate by
               the Administratrix: else exeqcon
                 Whereas Disborough Bennett hath made appeare by oath that
               there is due unto him out of the Estate of Capt John Vicaris Late
               of this County deceased Seauen hundred Thirty and Seauen pounds
               of Tobacco This Court doth ordr that Present Payment be made out
               of the Estate by the Administratrix else exeqcon

                 Wheras Thomas Taylor hath made appeare by bill: that there is
               due unto him out of the estate of Capt John Vicaris Late of this
               County deceased Three thousand three hundred & tenn pounds of
               Tobacco: This Court doth order by the Consent of the Administratrix
               that prsent payment may be made out of the Estate: &c

                 Whereas William Royden hath made Appeare by bill & Accompt
               that ther is due unto him out of the Estate of Capt John Vicaris Late
               of this County deceased one thousand Fower hundred Eighty & nine
               pounds of tobacco This Court doth order that prsent paynient be made
               out of the estat by the Administratrix: else exeqcon
