   And soc to MT William Heads Old [] from thence into the
   mayne Roade: And It is further ordred [] Harris be ouer
   seer for the uper hundred And [] for the Lower hun
   dred: &c
     It is Allsoe ordred by this Present Cort that the ouerseers appoynted
   for the extendeing & makeing the Highwayes haue the authority to
   warne all the taxables in Each Devishon by equall pro porcon att such
   tymes & placces as they shall appoynt & them shall imploy as they shall
   see good according to the abouesd order made in relacon to highways
   & they be further Impowered to Cause soe many psons as they shall
   see good to Imploy to Come wth sufficient tools and diett to sarue
   them while they they are about the sd Worke and whomsoeuer shall
   refuse being soe warned to cume they shall haue them before the next
   Justice of the Peace whoe haue power to Deale wth them as they shall
   thinke Fitt

     Edward Leake Desireth that his Letter of Attorney may be Re
   corded from Mris Margrett Brent, wch this Cort granteth: wch fol
   loweth in these words
     These ptsents Wittnes that I Mrs Margrett Brent of Virginea doe
   ordayne and appoynt Edward Leake of Kent to be my true and Law-
   full Attorney to Demand & rec: for my use all such rents that are Due
   to me from any pson whomesoeuer for Kent Manor: allsoe to make
   proses at Lawe for Recouering the same: And to giue Receipts for
   what he shall Rec: What my said Attorney shall doe herein I shall
   Ratifie as if Parsonally prsent Witnes my hand this 7th of May 1669
