     The Depossetion of Morgon Williames saith [fol. 24]
     That som Time last yeare yor Dept being in Vergenia Did goe vnto
   Mary Hartwe!!s house to se her: And she Demanded of yor Dept
   wether mr Wickes Did know of his Coming Downe And yor Dept
     yes: And Then she sd she wounderd That Mr Wickes Did not
   send her som Releiue: for The Child That she Then went with
   was his And she had sent him such word: And she Desierd yor
   Deponant for god sake To Assest her That she might haue som
   Relieue from him And yor Dept sd That he would willingly Doe any
   Thinge for her: but very vnwilling to Medell with That: for he
   was his vnkell: And if sd she That you will goe Along with me to
   Maior Daues she would get him writt for her wherein she would
   saue him harmles: soe yor Dept And she went And the sd Maior
   Daues Did writt A letter for her to The sd W Wickes And gaue
   yor Dept A Copy And A letter of Atturny to sew him if he would
   haue gonn out of The Countery as she heard he was: for he had
   vndunn her: And she Did alsoe Take her Oath before the sd mr
   Daues which she sent by yor Dept That the sd mT Wickes had gotten
   her with Child And it was his And no bodys elc which writings all
   yor Dept Did Bring Vp with him And severall other Peopell hath
   seen The most of Them: But since which Time That Mr Wickes
   was maried she Came And Demanded The writings Agayne: And
   yor Dept Did giue her Them all: not Thinking or emagening That
   ever he should be questioned for Them And further she Did Desier
   yor Dept to Acquaynt The governor with it or som of The Corn
   missiors There That som Just Corse might be Taken with him And
   she Releiued/             MorgonWilliames
                                  his signe

     William Leeds sworne sayth/
     That he being at The sd Morgon williams his house Did see Those
   Papers which The sd Morgon Williams brought out of Vergenia:
   wherin was included Mary Hartwe!ls Oath That she was with Child
   by Josiph Wickes And That The letter did specifie That her Oath
   was Taken before Mr Daues in Vergenia: And further yor Dept
   saith That he did see The letter of Atturny to sue Josiph Wickes if
   The sd Williames Thought fitt/ Teste Will Leeds
   Taken in Court the 2th
     of febry 1656/
