By the Lower House of Assembly, May 14, 1756.
May it please your Honours,
In Answer to your Message of this Afternoon, by Samuel Cham-
berlaine, Esq; respecting the Bill for his Majesty's Service, now
with your Honours, we can only say, that as that Bill is framed
agreeable to the free Conference of both Houses, we cannot agree
to any Alterations in it: Therefore request it may pass in its present
