No. 4 An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for the Relief of such
Persons as cannot find Surety for their Appearance, to testify as
a Witness against any Person arrested, accused, or prosecuted,
for any Criminal Matter.

Be it Enacted, by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary, by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordship's Governor, and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly, and the Authority of
the same, That an Act of Assembly of this Province entituled, An
Act for the Relief of such Persons as cannot find Surety for their
Appearance, to testify as a Witness against any Person arrested,

accused, or prosecuted, for any Criminal Matter, made at a Session
of Assembly, begun and held at the City of Annapolis, the Third Day
of June, Anno Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty
Two, be, and is hereby continued, and shall remain and be in full
Force, for and during the Term of Three Years, and unto the End
of the next Session of Assembly, which shall happen after the Ex-
piration of the said Three Years.

superannuated Slaves being set free, or the Manumission of
Slaves, by any last Will or Testament.

Be it Enacted, by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary, by
and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordship's Governor, and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly, and the Authority of the
same, That an Act of Assembly of this Province entituled, An Act


to prevent disabled and superannuated Slaves being set free, or the
Manumission of Slaves, by any last Will or Testament, made at a
Session of Assembly, begun and held at the City of Annapolis, the
