44 Chancery Court Proceedings, 1670-71. Liber C D decrees and other matters in your office to be Entred, you Shall truly Record, and true Copys thereof when Required, you shall deliver Subpcenas and other process of the Court you Shall bring to be Sealed with the Great Seale of the province duly Justly and Equally you shall Examine those Causes that shall be Committed unto you without any favour or Corruption of any person or per- sons to be had otherwise than of Right Shall appertain concerning the Same, and ye shall be attendant as well to further his Lordship's Designs, as the Same Causes from time to time as need shall require, and you shall not publish or show directly or Indirectly, the Same Depositions to any person afore publication in the Court without warrant of the Same Court, So help you God and by the Contents of this Booke The 3.d of ffebruary 1670 Was then Robert Ridgely Sworn Register & Examiner in Chan- cery according to the Teno.r of the Oath above written (And ad- mitted to Exercise the said places) before me Signed Will: Talbott Maryland ss.
