The Governor communicates his Answer to the Address of this
house which is as follows
Gentlemen of the Upper House of Assembly
I cannot but rejoice to find that your Sentiments with respect to
the affairs which I thought myself obliged to recommend at the Open-
ing of this Session are so Conformable to the opinion I had enter-
tained of them and I return you thanks for the Assurance given
me in your very obliging Address of your readily concurring to
expedite the important Business which is at present the Subject of
our Consideration
