Major Ridgely.
On reading the Account of George Scott, laid before the Com-
mittee of Accounts, for the Fees charged on Prosecution of Crimi-
nals, before an especial Court appointed to be held in Prince George's
County, by Commission for that Purpose; the Question was put,
Whether the Charges arising by special Courts, be paid by the Public,
or by the Counties where the Criminals are tried ? Resolved, That
the Charges be paid by the Public.
