               Vid supra fol 96. Esq doe hereby constitute ordaine & appoynt Thomas Nottley of

                     st Maries County mercht to bee my true & Lawfully Attorney in the
                     pleading of all such accon or accons as I the sd Clarke haue com
                     manded in the next Prouinciall Court held att St Maries the 8th of
                     Septembt next, or att any time during the sd Court, And what my
                     sd Attorney shall doe or cause to bee done in any Legall way in Re
                     laon thereunto, I doe hereby ratify, allow of, & confirme to bee as
                     good and substantiall to all intents & purposes, as if I my self e were
                     prsoflally ptnt att the docing thereof. And for the more & better Con
                     firmaon hereof I haue hereunto sett my hand & Seale the 29th day

                     Daniel Johnson plf The plf Declareth agst in an accon of the
                     Willm Robinson deft Case, And demandeth tht the deft ptforme
                     Couents in Relaon to Dcliuery of a parcc!l of Land in manner &
                     forme as by agreemt made betweene the plf & deft may appeare the
                     Case being such, The plf hauing demanded of the deft prformance,
                     the deft thereuppon refuses & denys Complyance, wherefore hee
                     craueth Judgmt uppon the sd Agreemt agst the deft, & for Cost of
                     suite.    -

                     summoned, The Court graunted Judiciell Charges to the plf agst the

                      Whereas Elizabeth Greene hath openly defamed yor Petr by calling
                     him the King of Theeues & his wife the Queene of Theeues
                     seuerall other unciuill tearmes, Notwthstanding yor Petts being form
                [p. 110]    erly cleared by Law from those scandalls, yor Petr humbly Craucs &
                     dcsyeth satisfaction to bee made by the sd Elizabeth Greene for the
                     Recouering of yot Petrs & his sd wifes crcditt. And yor Petr shall
                     pray.
