Liber B B the sd person to the Ld proprietr in Case he appeare not according to summons To the Gouernor & Councell in Prouinall Court Assembled, the humble pet” of Xtopher Dobson Sheweth That Thomas Simmons did assume uppon himselfe the 14th day of Decembr 1664 to pay yor petr the suffie of seauen hundred Eighty six poundes of tobacco wth Caske, Now the said Thomas Simmons delays paymt to the prejudice of your petr Wherefore he humbly Craues Order of this Honnoble Court wth damages and Cost of suite And as in duty bound shall euer pray &c. 442] Christopher Dobson dds writt agst William Asbeston in an accon January 28' of debt to the uallue of 738th tob: Warrt to sherriffe of St Marys County to arrest &c. Ret. 7th ffeb ruary next Prouinall Court— The said Dobson demds summons for Jeremy Harington and John Bryan to testifye &c in Causo ut supra uppon perill of forfeiting 500lb tob: each person in Case they appeare not according to summons— To the honoble Gouernor & Councell in Prouinall Court Assembled, the humble petn of Xtopher Dobson Sheweth That William Asbeston did assume uppon himselfe the 29th day of March 1664 to pay yor petr the sume of seauen hundred thirety Eighte poundes of tobacco and Caske, Now the said Wm Asbeston delayes paymt to the prejudice of yor petr Wherefore he humbly Craues Order of this Honnoble Court wth dathages and Cost of suite— And as in duty bound he shall euer pray &c On the back side of that Commcon ut est in fo: 432 for the reap praysing the Estate of John Bateman Escp deceased was thus written as followeth (uizt) For as much as doubt is made by the Attorneys of Margarite Perry whether the lands late belonging to John Bateman Esq be to be ap praysed, I doe hereby Order that the lands aforesaid be appraysed to the intent that Henry Scarburgh wthin menconed be truely informed of the uallue of the said Estate left by John Bateman aforesaid, Giuen und” my hand this 17th day of January 1664— Philip Calvert Thomas Sprigge makes returne of the said Comthon wth this alsoe on the back side Mr William Groome and Mr Richard Smyth Sworne this 18th day of January 1664 me Thomas Brooke Mr Thomas Truman sworne the 19th day of January 1664 be fore me Tho: Sprigg |
