               Liber B B These are in the name of the Rigt Honhte the Lord Proprietary of
                     this prouince to will & require yow to see the body of Joseph ffincher
                     (who att Our last Court of Sessions held at St Marys the 22th of
                     this instant Decembr was arraigned and Conuicted of murder) Car
                     ryed to the place of Execüon within three dayes after yor receiuing
                     the said ffincher into yor Custody, and betwixt 8 and 9 of the Clock
                     in the morning there to hang by the neck till he be dead according to
                     the Judgmt Giuen on the day abouesaid, And for soe doeing this shall
                     be yor warrant Giuen undr my hand this day of Decembr 1664

                     ing, whereas Thomas Whyniard and Edward Ladd late of yor said
                     County planters hath been arrested for suspition of felony by them
                     as is said Committed, Wee will and Comand yow therefore to receiue
                     into yor Custody the said Thomas Whyniard and Edward Ladd there
                     to remaine untill by due Course of law they shall be deliuered, Witt
                     nes Our deare Brother Philip Caluert Escp Chancellor of Our Prou
                     ince of Maryland Giuen att St Marys this 23d day of December

                       I doe depute yow Robert Loyd to take the said Thomas Whyniard
                     and Edward Ladd into yor Custody and them deliuer unto the sher
                     rife aboue menconed Giuen undr my hand the day & yeare aboue

                       The Jurors for the Rigt Honble the Lord Proprietary doth prsent
                      John Holmewood of Anne Arundell County for that he hauing a
                       Seruant man drowned in a Creeke adjoyning neer his howse in the
                        County in or about the 34th yeare of his Lordsps Dominion ouer
                       this pruince did not cause a Jury of Inquest from the Coroner to en
                       quire Concerning his Death and being summoned by the Commrs of
                       the said County to appeare before them to answere the same hee in
                       Contempt to his Lops Authority refused to appeare—
                       The Jurors for the Lord Proprietary doe prsent Edwd Skidmore
                     of Ann Arundell County for that he hauing a man seruant drowned
                     in a Creeke adjoyning neer his house in the sd County in or about
                     the 34th yeare of his Lops Dominion ouer this prouince, did not Cause
                     a Jury of Inquest from the Coroner to enquire concerning his death
                       Ordered the abouesaid Presentmts be further enquired into and
