The Jurors being called & answering all of them to their call, by [p. 15]
their seuerall names, The fforeman deliuens in their Verdict (Viz)
That Patrick Due is not Guilty of the murder whereof hee stands
indicted in the Bill. Butt wee find him Guilty of Manslaughter.
Vppon wch their Verdict, ProclamaOn was made, How tht if any
one can informe of any other felony, or misdemeanor committed or
done by Patrick Due, now Prisoner att the Bar, Lett him Come forth,
& shall bee heard, for the Prisoner standeth uppon his Justificaon &
deliuenance
And Tobias Dunkin, Elias Chandler & John Adams came afore
the Board, & declare for the Lord Proprietary (Intimating wthall
that they could say noe more then what they had allready declared
& affirmed) And enter into new Recognizances.
Whereupon the Lt Grãll adionned the Court till the Eighth day of
this prsent month; And to bee held att St Maries. The Prisoner
againe Committed to Prison.
Warnt to the sheriffe of Caluert County to summoneThirty men att
least out of that County, to attend the Gour & Councell as Jurors att
St Maries, on the 8th of this instant, according to the sd adiornt. And
then Ret.
