That the said Treasurer pay to Allen Quynn Esquire four pounds,
nineteen shillings and four pence out of the Money set apart for
Contingent Expences per Account passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Ignatius Fenwick seventeen
thousand, three hundred and fifty pounds of nett Tobacco at George
Town and Bladensburgh Warehouses due him for the like Quantity
lent the State in Novemr 1780 per Certificates adjusted by the Der/
Aud.

Ordered that the Issuing Commissary deliver to Charles Robinson
of the first Maryland Regimt, Rations until further Orders.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer issue Certificates agree-
able to the "Act proposing to the Citizens of this State, Creditors of
Congress &ca " to Martha Wilson for thirty seven pounds, four shil-
lings & ten pence and to Isaac Holland for thirty seven pounds, four
shillings and ten pence due them on Continental Lo. Office Certifi-
cates adjusted by the D. Aud. I Inst
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Wilson twenty six pounds,
seven shillings and three pence — John Stewart sixty three pounds,
two shillings & eight pence — Arnold Elsey twenty pounds, nine shil-
lings & John Bloodsworth five pounds, two shillings & six pence
specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts &ca per Accounts
passed 1st Inst
That the said Treasurer pay to Henry Jackson Esqr for the use
of Capt Heber Whittingham two pounds five shillings out of the
money set apart for Contingent Expences per Account passed —

[Wm Paca in Council Annapolis to Honble Intendant]
We have received a Letter from Mr Morris requesting Us to fur-
nish the Pay Master General with an Account of all Payments and
Advances of every Kind which have been made by this State to
any of the Officers and Soldiers of the American Army, he also in-
forms Us that those Affairs will soon be in a Train of Settlement and
that it is necessary the Accounts should be forwarded without delay.
We therefore desire you would direct an Account of the above Pay-
ments and Advances to be made out as soon as possible and rendered
to the Paymaster General that this State may obtain Credit therefor.
The enclosed Copy of a Letter from Mr Morris to the Paymaster
General will shew the necessity. —
