Wednesday 17th July 1782
Ordered that Mr David Weems deliver to Capt Dashiell or his
order the three pound Cannon lent him, the property of the State.
That the two 12lb Cannon which were lent to Mr Thomas Rutland
& put onboard his Schooner Matapony, be delivered to Captain
William Campbell whose property they are.
That the western shore Treasurer pay to John Evans thirty three
Pounds, five shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &ca for the use of Geo Ballard due him per
Account passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph White Harrison one hun-
dred and seventy two pounds, ten shillings and nine pence of the
same Emission due on a Certificate issued agreeable to the "Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State.

Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to Robert
Collings Commander of the Ship Friendship, three hundred and
seventy five Tons burthen navigated by one hundred men, mounting
twenty four Carriage Guns belonging to Mark Pringle and others of
Baltimore.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Moses Morelake
twelve Pounds, six shillings and eight Pence and Nicholas Tarr
nine Pounds, three shillings and four Pence of the Bills emitted under
the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca due them per Accounts
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to William Adams fifty Pounds,
fifteen shillings and six Pence and Conrod T. Wederstrandt sixty
Pounds, two shillings and six Pence Specie agreeable to the "Act to
adjust the Debts due from this State " per Account & Certificates
passed.

We request you to let John Davis, a sick Soldier, have a Shirt and
a Pair of Overalls, for which you will be paid at the Time the Pay-
ment for the Hats becomes due.

As Steward and Vickers, according to the Information communi-
cated in your last Letter, have been tried for some Offence, and we
suppose, for breaking Prison, and fined by the Court and committed
until the Fines are paid; we cannot, at this Time, with Propriety,
order those Persons to Virginia, as they must be first discharged and
the Fines remitted, which we are not authorized to do.
