eight pence to William Murphy — ten pounds six shillings and eight
pence to John Merrick — Ten pounds to Nathan Cummings seventeen
pounds, fifteen shillings to Richard Clash, ten pounds one shilling &
eight pence to William Merrick — nine pounds, one shilling and eight
pence to John Shepherd — ten pounds to James Cheesely and eight
pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence to Robert Cheesely due
them per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Connolly ten pounds, five
shillings and six pence — John Alsop ten pounds, six shillings and
eight pence — Moses Black nine pounds, eleven shillings and eight
pence — William Neale, David Davis, George Maddux, John Bos-
well each, eleven pounds one shilling and eight pence — Roger Posey
fourteen pounds, eighteen shillings and four pence — Zachariah Posey
fifteen pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence & Thomas Yeates
eleven pounds, thirteen shillings and four pence of the same Emis-
'sion due them per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to John Cavender nineteen pounds of
the same Emission seven pounds fourteen shillings thereof to be by
him retained six pounds, six shillings to be delivered to John Phebus
and five pounds to Thomas Ackman the Bounty allowed for Manu-
facturing nineteen bushels of Salt per Certificates passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Bowie forty four pounds
sixteen shillings and five pence of the same Emission for the use of
Benedict Calvert per Certificate passed. —
That the Commissary of Provisions deliver to John Randall twelve
hundred and ninety three Bushels of Wheat to be delivered him in
Montgomery County and to be by him Accounted for at four shil-
lings per Bushel. —

Zachariah Posey a Draught from Charles County 2d June 1781.
Roger Posey 11 June — John Boswell, George Maddux and David
Davis 27 July — and William Neale a substitute 27 July, to serve
'till the 10th December having served the term aforesaid as is repre-
sented by General Smallwood are hereby Discharged. —
Commission of Letters of Marque and Reprisal issued to Jeffrey
James Service Commander of the Ship Count De Grasse one hun-
dred and thirty one Tons burthen, navigated by twenty men, mount-
ing six Carriage Guns, belonging to Isaac, Abraham & Andrew Van-
bibber & others of Baltimore. —
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Colo Joseph
Wood one hundred and seventy one pounds, twelve shillings and two
pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills
of Credit &ca to be delivered over as follows — seven shillings and
six pence to Peter Barruck — seven shillings and eleven pence to John
Cooper — seven pounds fourteen shillings and three pence to Balser
Reem — fourteen shillings to John Carver — four pounds sixteen shil-
lings & eight pence to William Moore — five pounds, three shillings
