Enclosed is what I wrote your Excy the 6th your Letre of the 4th
did not reach me 'till yesterday and I hope my waiting for Leigh's
Waggon will be a sufP apology for the Goods not being sent sooner,
Mr Ridgate has a Quantity of linnens (but none brown) which he
proposes offering to the Governor and Council — shou'd Luckett want
any forage, I hope the Qur Master will be ordered to furnish him,
I believe he will want nothing but Hay, and if there shou'd be any
use for horses I wish the Governor & Council wou'd order the Bay
horse to be retained he is so mischievous I have been obliged to keep
him in the stable for 6 weeks past; he is a good Carriage horse, and
was appraised to £52..10..1, 7 years old
