[Clemt Hollyday, Com. for B. P. to Thos B. Hodgkin]
Your favr of the 10th p Post has reach'd my hands but does not
contain the information necessary, Mr Dulany the elder convey'd
all his Lands in Frederick to his two sons Daniel and Benjr except
Locust Level, his Deed to Benj: must have been prior to that given
to Danl and must Specify the tracts particularly, if therefore you will
be so obliging as to favor me with a particular description of the
Lands deeded to Ben it will enable me ascertain pretty nearly the
property of Young Danll Mr F. Deakins is employ'd to survey the
confiscated Lands in Frederick and Montgomery Cotys shoud he ap-
ply you will be so good as to furnish him with any information which
your Office will afford to direct him in that business.
P. S. It is possible that Mr Dulany has first Deeded all his Lands
to his son Danl and that Young Danl has afterwards given to his
Brother Ben. the Lands he possesses, should this be the case you will
be pleasd to describe the Lands deeded by young Danl to his Brother
Ben.
