Mr. Hollyday, from the Committee of Laws, delivers to Mr.
Speaker an Address to the Governor; which was read, approved, and
ordered to be Ingrossed.
Col. Hammond, from the Upper House, delivers to Mr. Speaker
the Bill entituled, An Act for the Continuation of Actions, &c. In-
dorsed, "By the Upper House of Assembly, December 14, 1751.
Read the first Time, and ordered to lie on the Table.

And thus: " By the Upper House of Assembly, December 14,

ing Amendments will pass: In Line 7, Page 2, after the Word be-

the Upper House, passed for Ingrossing.
George Plater, Esq; from the Upper House, delivers to Mr.
Speaker the Address to the King's Most Excellent Majesty, In-
grossed, and Signed by his Excellency the Governor, and by the
Honourable President of the Council; which was, by Order of the
House, Signed by the Honourable Speaker.
Col. Hooper, from the Committee of Laws, delivers to Mr.
Speaker the following Ingrossed Address; viz.
To his Excellency Samuel Ogle, Esq; Governor of Maryland ;
The Humble Address of the House of Delegates of the said
Province.
May it please your Excellency,
On considering Col. Cresap's Letter, and other Papers, sent with
your Excellency's Message of the loth Instant, we conceive his De-
mand unreasonable; and the more so, as no others complain of In-
juries from those Indians. Therefore we do not think proper to
burthen our Constituents with any Charge upon the Occasion.
Which was read and assented to, and signed, by Order of the
House, by the Honourable Speaker.
