tions from the Chancellors & Secretarys fees laid before your Com-
mittee this Session, We hope you will regulate the Journal accord-
ingly that it may pass this house

Read the second time the Bill entituled an Act for Regulating the
Interest upon Tobacco and Money and will pass with the following
Amendmt. So far as Relates to the Interest of Tobacco to be omitted
And in 11th Line of Second Page instead of the words the Charges of
the County put the Lord Proprietary for the Support of Govern-
ment, sent to the Lower house by Edmund Jenings Esqr
Adjourned till 3 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Money they shall Receive belonging to the Publick; thus Endowed

Read the Second Time the Bills following Viz. An Act reviving
An Act entituled an act for the Speedy Recovery of Small Debts out
of Court before a Single Justice of the Peace; An Act for the Tryal
of all Matters of fact in the Several Counties where they have arisen
or shall arise; and will not Pass, sent to the Lower house by Benedict
Calvert Esq.
Read the Petition of the Rector Vestrymen & Churchwardens of
St Johns Parish in Baltimore County Praying that the Sum of two
hundred and fifty Pounds Currency may be leveyed on the Taxable
Inhabitants of the said Parish for building a Chappel of Ease and
that the Persons named in the Petition may be appointed Commis-
sioners to lay out the same; And the Petition of the said Rector
Vestrymen and Churchwardens of St Johns Parish in Baltimore
County afd praying an Additional Salary of Ten pounds may be
