Although we agree that it is very Reasonable to Suppress the
Inspection House at Maggothy yet we cannot for many Reasons
consent to the suppressing the Warehouse at Annapolis
As to the Salary at Bladensburgh, Queen Ann, Marlborough, &
Benedict Town Inspections, although we are very Apprehensive the
Reduction of Salarys may have many ill consequences & discourage-
ments in Executing the Inspection Law yet if you still insist on it
we will not disagree with you in this Point, but wish you would
continue the same Salarys as settled by the former Act.
We recede from such of Our other Amendments as were not
Agreed to by your house in your Message of the first Instant or not
taken Notice of by us in this Message

Sterling Rector of St Pauls Parish in Kent County to Convey Two
Tracts of Land the One called Huddles Right the other called Rush-

A Message from the Lower house by Messrs Sheredine & Davis
By the Lower house of Assembly 2d June 1750
May it Please your honours
It appearing to this house that there is wanting, Paper Ink
Powder, Quils Parchment and Books for the use of the Publick,
& as there is a Large Sum of Money due to the Publick of this
Province, in the hands of Mr William Hunt Merchant in London
We propose that the Treasurer of the western shoar be ordered to
send to the said William Hunt for the above necessaries to the
Amount of thirty Pounds Sterling and desire your Honours con-
currance

The Bill Entituled An Act for the sale of Certain Lands and
Houses belonging to the free school in the City of Annapolis called
King William School being Read and assented to by this House is
Carried to the Lower house with the Paper Bill is brought from the
Lower house by Messrs Hyland and Davis, thus Endorsed
