The Petition of the Inhabitants of Upper-Marlborough Town in
Prince George's County, praying a Supplementary Law to the Act
impowering Commissioners for laying out the said Town, was read
and granted. Ordered, That the Committee of Laws do prepare
and bring in a Bill accordingly.
The Bill entituled, An Act impowering the Justices of Baltimore
County Court, to assess and levy a Sum in current Money, &c. was
read the second Time and will pass, and was sent to the Upper
House by Dr. Buchanan and Major Sheredine.

Three Pence Sterling per Hogshead on all Tobacco to be exported,
for purchasing Arms and Ammunition, and for an immediate Sup-
ply of Arms, for the Defence of this Province; or not? Resolved
in the Negative.
