Friday 20th July 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Capt John A.
Hamilton seven pounds, three shillings of the Bills emitted under the
Act for the emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred
thousand pounds &ca of the money appropriated for the present Cam-
paign due him per Account passed by the Aud. Genl and also the
further sum of fifteen pounds of the same Emission of the money
appropriated to the Officers going to the southward.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Chalmers six pounds seven
shillings and six pence and also four pounds eight shillings of the
same Emission of the money appropriated for the present Campaign
due him per Account passed by the Audr Genl and Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Thomas Lansdale Ten
pounds two shillings and ten pence of the same Emission of the
money appropriated as aforesaid clue him per Account passed by the
Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Philip Sheppard four pounds, thir-
teen shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated as
aforesaid due him for riding Express per Account passed by the
Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Issabell eleven pounds and
nine pence of the same Emission of the money appropriated as afore-
said due himself and others per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut John Boone of the 3d Regt
Twenty pounds of the same Emission of the money appropriated to
the Officers going to the Southward.

That the said Treasurer pay to Joshua Dorsey four pounds eight-
een shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated for the

payment of Expresses &ca his Allowance on the Journal of Accounts
for May Session 1781.
That the said Treasurer pay to Joseph Middleton eighteen pounds
of the same Emission of the money appropriated as aforesaid for the
use of Captain William Middleton on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Dorsey and Company three
hundred and eighty eight pounds, ten shillings and nine pence Specie
agreeably to the " Act to adjust the Debts due from this State " per
Acct passed by the A. Gl
That the said Treasurer pay to Jeremiah Townly Chase Esqr four
hundred and twenty six pounds, nine shillings and eight pence three
farthings Specie agreeable to the Act aforesaid due him per Accounts
passed by the Depy Aud. the 17th July 1781
That the said Treasurer pay to George Salmon three hundred and
sixty pounds, ten Shillings and three pence Specie agreeable to the
Act aforesaid per Account passed by the Aud. Genl
