Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Welch
Twenty two pounds five shillings due him per Account passed by the
Aud. Genl
That the Collector of the Tax for Baltimore County pay to Capt
George Keeports three hundred & seventy five pounds on Account.
That the Collector of the Tax for Harford County pay to Richard
Dallam Esqr five hundred pounds and also the further Sum of one
thousand pounds on Account.

Ordered that the Commissary of Stores deliver to Paul Richards
of the 3d Regimt one pair of Overalls, one Shirt and one pair of
shoes.
Agreeable to the Act to embody a number of select Militia and
for immediately putting this State in a proper Posture of Defence
The Council proceeded to establish the relative Rank of the Lieu-
tenants appointed by the General Assembly by placing each of their
names in a Balot Box and drawing them out one by one, their names
were drawn in the following order. George Dashiell, Christopher
Birkhead, Richard Barnes, Wm Hemsley, Joseph Dashiell, William
Whitely, James Brice, Wm Bowley, Andrew Buchanan, Henry
Hooper, Francis Ware.
Whereas we have good reason to believe as well from the Oath
of Patrick Noland as the General conduct and Conversation of
Thomas Wright of Queen Anns County that the said Thomas Wright
is a Disaffected and Dangerous Person whose going at large may be
detrimental to the State. The Lieutenant of Ann Arundel County
was ordered to arrest the said Thomas Wright without Delay and
have him before us forthwith that he may be dealt with according
to Law.

[Council to Lieutenants of the Counties for Cecil, Harford and
Baltimore to be sent to Baltimore Town.]
The representation of Genl Smallwood that it would be highly
proper to assemble all the Recruits at one or two Places of Rendez-
vous that they may be cloathed armed and disciplined and ready to
march to reinforce the Southern Army has induced us to appoint
Annapolis and Baltimore for them to Rendezvous at and request you
