Sr Since I Received your Excellencys Commands of the 12th
Inst, have forwarded to the Head of Elk 345 Barrels of Flour to
be delivered to Col Hollingsworth and this day shall Ship about
200 Barrels more which will be about the whole of what I have
thats fit for the Army.
Can't get the Damaged Flour Baked for want of Ship Stuff.
I made application to Mr Calhoun to purchase some for that purpose
& he tells me that he waits to know your Excellencys pleasure on
that Head about wch he writ you some time past

Sir The inclosed is a copy of letter from Genl Washington of
the 17th ins' It seems to be more than probable that the embarkation
therein mentioned, is destined for the southward. And there appears
to be a necessity that the regt of your State should be forwarded on
as soon as possible. The board request you will be pleased to inform
them, whether it marches by the upper or the lower route, & when
it will leave Annapolis
The board, yesterday ordered 50 Tents to be sent on to Annas &
as the clothing must have arrived before this, it is hoped, as soon
as the Tents are recr the Troops will be able to move
