ers or Trustees in England have credited my Testator's Account
with them; but shall write them immediately in Relation thereto,
and if the said Bills have not been paid to the Trustees aforesaid,
I will promise on Receipt of their Answer (that the money hath not
been received by them) to pay the Amount of the Bills, with Interest
from the Time they ought to have been carried to the Credit of the
Country.

Gentlemen —
Having received a Letter from the Commissioners of the Paper
Currency Office, relating to some Bills, mentioned in a Report of
both Houses last Session, remitted by the late Naval Officer of
Pocomoke: I do assure your Honours that I have wrote very press-
ingly for an Account Current, from the year 1736, which I daily
expect to receive; and if it doth not then appear that the Bills men-
tioned in the Report aforesaid, are carried to the Credit of the Coun-
try, I do hereby promise, that it shall be done with Interest for the
Time that Money hath been due to the Country, by Gentlemen
Your humble Servant, Matthias Gale.

A Bill entituled, An Act to remedy some Defects in an Indenture
of Bargain and Sale, made and executed by Michael Curtis, and
Sarah his wife, late of St. Mary's County deceased, and Charles
Carroll Esqre late of the Citv of Annapolis, deceased; was read the
first Time, and ordered to lie on the Table.
On Motion of a Member, for Leave to bring in a Bill to continue
an Act entituled, An Act for the speedy and effectual Publication of
the Laws of this Province, and for the Encouragement of Jonas
Green of the City of Annapolis, Printer; Leave given, and ordered,
that the Committee of Laws prepare and bring in the same.
Mr George, from the Committee of Laws, brings in a Bill enti-
tuled, An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for the speedy
and effectual Publication of the Laws of this Province &c which was
read the first Time, and ordered to lie on the Table.

Col. Hooper delivers Mr Speaker a Bill, entituled, a supplementary
Act to the Act entituled, An Act appointing Commissioners for
dividing St. Mary's County into four Parishes, and to erect that
Part of All Faith and King and Queen Parish laying in Charles
County, into a Distinct Parish which Bill was read the first Time,
and ordered to lie on the Table.
