The Question was put, Whether this House agrees to the altera-
tion proposed by the Upper House, to the assize Bill, in Relation to
Special Verdicts, or not? Resolved in the Affirmative.
(The same Gentlemen were on each side this Question as on the
last.)
This Question was put whether these words, unless the party or
parties accused or prosecuted, pray Judgment may be given imme-
diately, that then and in such Case, the ludge or Judges of assize
shall and may proceed to Judgment therein; any Law, Vsage, or
Custom, to the Contrary notwithstanding, mentioned in the assize
Bill, and proposed by the Upper House, to be Omitted, shall be left
out of the Bill, or not? Resolved in the Affirmative.

two last)
This Question was put whether the Duration of the assize Bill,
shall be until the first Day of November 1749, As proposed by the
Upper House, or not ? Resolved in the Affirmative.
