A Bill entituled, An Act for the Enlargement of Baltimore Town
in Baltimore County, and other purposes therein mentioned, was
Read the first Time, and Ordered to lie on the Table.

A Bill entituled, An Act to prevent the Act of Limitation taking
place, or being pleadable in the Case of Treasurers Bonds was Read
the first time, and Ordered to lie on the Table.
The House Adjourns 'til Two of the Clock

Post Meridiem

The House met according to Adjournment.
Mr Green, the Printer, having made a Remonstrance, to this
House, desiring an allowance for Services &c. The Question was
put, whether Jonas Green, Printer, shall have any further allowance
for Services and Disappointments before this Session, than what has
been already made to him, or not ? Resolved in the Negative.

All appeared as yesterday, except Dr Buchanan.
The House taking into Consideration a proposal made by the
Conferees of the Upper House to the Conferees of the Lower House,
as to a Clause in the Bill entituled An Act for amending the Staple
of Tobacco &c relating to discharging the public and County Levies,
after a Deduction of one fifth, shall be discharged after the Com-
