The Question was put, whether the Question shall be put? viz.
Whether it shall be an Instruction to the Conferees, that this House
agrees that Addition be made to the ffees in the Bill adequate to the
Service, where they are too low rated; or whether this Question shall
be put viz. Whether it shall be given as an Instruction to the Con-
ferees of this House, to inform the Conferees of the Upper House,
that this House is willing that the Judge of the Land Office, and
all the inferior Officers, rate their Tobacco at one ffourth Deduction
from the ffees, as they now Charge them, or not ? Carried, that the
last be the Question put.

The Question was put, whether the Conferees of this House, shall
be instructed to acquaint the Conferees of the Upper House, that
this House is willing that ffees to the Examiner General be allowed
in the Bill rating his ffees, in the same manner as the Judge of the
Land Office, and inferior Officers, are allowed to Charge, or not?
Resolved in the Affirmative.
