By the Upper house of Assembly. 25 June 1747
Gentlemen Upon Consideration of the Bill Entituled an Act for
amending the Staple of Tobacco for preventing frauds in his Majes-
tys Customs and for the Limitation of Officers fees We find many
Parts of it of Such a Nature as cannot with any Reason or Justice
be passed as they now Stand; but as the Welfair and Prosperity of
the Province depend so very much upon the Success of this Bill
We Desire a Conference with Your house upon the Subject Matter
