hope it will be thought but reasonable, that your Government, with
the others to the Southward, should bear a Proportion of the Ex-
pence attending their engageing with us in this important Service.
The Assembly here have evaded Providing Battoes Cannoes and
other necessaries for transporting their own People into Canada,
that I shall be obliged to procure them at the Charge of the Crown
rather than let the Service Suffer, which I believe is not expected and
as these things will be counted for the transporting all the Troops
that are to be raised and rendezvous at Albany I conclude it will not
be improper in you to give the necessary Directions to Provide
what may be wanted on the part of your Government as soon as
may be.

read the second Time passed and sent to the Upper House by Mr
[Wilson] and thirteen others.

The Bill entituled An Act continuing An Act entituled, An Act
for relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some Aggriev-
ances in the Prosecution of Suits at Law, and for Continuing the
Supplementary Act thereto And The Bill entituled An Act con-
tinuing An Act entituled An Act for the advancement of Justice :
were read the second Time, passed and Sent to the Upper House
by Mr Smallwood and Lecompte
Mr Philip Hammond delivers Mr Speaker An Address to the
Governor, which was read, Approved of, and ordered to be ingrossed.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock
