manner

Mr Worthington acquaints Mr Speaker, that the Rev. Mr Gordon
will comply with the Request of this House to read Divine Service.
Col. Dashiel and Mr Purnell are sent to the Upper House with
Col. King and Col. Henry, to see them qualified: They return and
acquaint Mr Speaker, they saw them qualified in the usual Manner.

Dr Carroll, from the Committee of Laws, delivers Mr Speaker a
Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for the
Advancement of Justice And, A Bill entituled, An Act continuing
an Act entituled, An Act for the speedy Recovery of small Debts,
out of Court, before a single Justice of the Peace.
Which Bills were read the first Time, and ordered to lie on the
Table.

Friday Morning, March 14. 1745
The House met according to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of yesterday were read.
On motion of a Member, Leave is given to bring in a Bill for
Limitation of Officer's Fees; and Ordered, that the Committee of
Laws prepare and bring in the same.
Col. King added to the Committee of Accounts.
Mr Hammond, from the Committee of Laws, delivers Mr Speaker
an Address to the Governor, on his Speech, which was read, ap-
proved of, and ordered to be ingrossed.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock.
