and bring in Bills to continue the said Laws.

M^r Smallwood and M^r Harrison are sent to the Upper House
with M^r Courts and M^r Wilkinson to see them qualified: They re-
turn and acquaint M^r Speaker they saw them qualified in the usual
manner

The Gentlemen take their Seats in the House.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock.

Col. King, a returned Member for Somerset County, and Col.
Henry, a returned Member for Worcester County, appear in the
House
M^r Worthington acquaints M^r Speaker, that the Rev. M^r Gordon
will comply with the Request of this House to read Divine Service.
Col. Dashiel and M^r Purnell are sent to the Upper House with
Col. King and Col. Henry, to see them qualified: They return and
acquaint M^r Speaker, they saw them qualified in the usual Manner.
The Gentlemen take their Seats in the House.
D^r Carroll, from the Committee of Laws, delivers M^r Speaker a
Bill entituled, An Act continuing an Act entituled, An Act for the
Advancement of Justice And, A Bill entituled, An Act continuing
an Act entituled, An Act for the speedy Recovery of small Debts,
out of Court, before a single Justice of the Peace.
Which Bills were read the first Time, and ordered to lie on the
Table.

The House adjourns 'til To-morrow Morning 9 of the Clock.

The House met according to Adjournment, and the Proceedings
of yesterday were read.
On motion of a Member, Leave is given to bring in a Bill for
Limitation of Officer's Fees; and Ordered, that the Committee of
Laws prepare and bring in the same.

Col. King added to the Committee of Accounts.
M^r Hammond, from the Committee of Laws, delivers M^r Speaker
an Address to the Governor, on his Speech, which was read, ap-
proved of, and ordered to be ingrossed.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock.
