The House proceeds to appoint the following Committee Viz.

Hooper, Maj. Hall, M^r Harris and M^r Key a Committee of Laws.
M^r Worthington, M^r Smallwood, M^r John Goldsborough, Capt.
Ennalls, & Col. Dashiel, a Committee of Elections and Privileges.
D^r Carroll, M^r Richard Gresham, M^r Paca, Col. Hooper, M^r Stod-
dert, and M^r John Goldsborough, a Committee of Aggrievances and
Courts of Justice.
M^r Wootton, Maj. Sheredine, M^r Worthington, and Col. Dashiel,

a Committee of Account?

M^r Wootton, Maj. Hall, M^r Thomas, Col. Hooper and M^r Addi-
son, a Committee to inspect the State and Condition of the Arms and
Ammunition, and Accounts relating thereto.
Ordered, that the Committee of Laws prepare an Address to the
Governor, in Answer to his Speech.
Capt. Gordon acquaints M^r Speaker, that he had administered the
Oaths to the Government to M^r Thomas Iobson and M^r Thomas
Sparrow; that they had signed the Oath of Abjuration, repeated and
signed the Test, and taken the usual Oath of Office
M^r Philip Hammond, from the Committee of Laws, acquaints
M^r Speaker, that the Committee had made choice of M^r Vachel
Denton to be their Clerk: The House approves the Choice.
Col. Hooper from the Committee of Aggrievances &^a acquaints
M^r Speaker, that the Committee had made choice of M^r William
Wilkins to be their Clerk: The House approves the Choice.
Col. Dashiel from the Committee of Accounts acquaints M^r
Speaker, that the Committee had made choice of M^r Richard Dorsey
for their Clerk: The House approves the Choice.
Capt. Gordon is ordered to qualify M^r Denton, M^r Wilkins, and
M^r Dorsey.
Resolved, That the Hours of sitting, this Session, be from Nine
to Twelve in the Morning and from Two to Five in the Afternoon.
Capt. Gordon acquaints M^r Speaker, that he had administered the

Ordered, that M^r Worthington acquaint the Rev. M^r Gordon, that
