Tilghman for their Clerk and hopes for his Excellencys Approba-
tion, to whom his Excellency is pleased to declare that he approves
of their Choice
Messrs Lloyd and Harrison from the Lower House attend with
Mr Wm Tilghman Clerk of the said House in Order to see him
qualified who takes the Oaths to the Government appointed to be
taken by Act of Assembly, and subscribes the Abjuration & Test,
and also takes the usual Oath of Office and then withdrew
Adjourned till to Morrow Morning ten of the Clock

Thursday Morning 13 March 1745
This House met again according to Adjournment
Present as Yesterday with the addition of Richard Lee Esqr
Messrs Smallwood and Wilkinson from the Lower House attend
with Mr John Courts a Member elected for Charles County in
Order to see him qualified who takes the Oaths to the Government
appointed to be taken by Act of Assembly repeats and subscribes
the Abjuration and Test and then withdrew
Adjourned till three of the Clock in the Afternoon

This House met again according to Adjournment
Present as in the Morning

Messrs Dashiel and Purnell attend with Colo Robert King a Mem-
ber Elected for Somerset County and with Colo John Henry a
Member elected for Worcester County in Order to see them quali-
fied who takes the Oaths to the Govt appointed to be taken by Act
of Assembly repeat and subscribe the Abjuration & Test & then
withdrew
