The Bill entituled, An Act to remedy some Defects in an Inden-
ture of Bargain and Sale made and executed by Michael Curtis and
Sarah his Wife &ca was sent to the Upper House by Mr Nicholas
Goldsborough, and five others.
Col. Hooper delivers Mr Speaker the following Report, viz.
By the Committee appointed to enquire into the Facts set forth in
Francis Waring's Petition.
Your Committee having taken the Petition of Francis Waring
under Consideration, beg leave to inform your Honourable House,
that Col. Thomas Greenfield, by his Deed of Gift bearing date the
12th Day of February, Anno Domini 1714, did make over unto Basil
Waring, and Martha his Wife, and the Heirs of their Bodies on the
said Martha begotten, all that Tract or Parcel of Land being Part
of Mazooncon and Part of Addition, lying in Prince George's
County, containing 246 Acres, which said Deed was in due Form
of Law acknowledged and recorded within six months from the
Execution thereof, in the Land Records of the said County
We find likewise that the said Martha Waring, by her Deed of
Gift, bearing date the 30th Day of November, Anno Domini 1733,
did make over unto your Petitioner Francis Waring, the abovesaid
246 Acres of Land
Your Committee likewise beg leave to inform your Honourable
House, that Thomas Waring, Brother to the said Francis Waring
your Honour's Petitioner, by his Letter bearing date the 7th of this
instant September hath given his consent to the Granting the Peti-
tion of the said Francis Waring. All which is humbly submitted to
your Honourable House.
