Liber No. 46

On reading the Report from the Committee of Aggrievances and
Courts of Justice, concerning a Complaint made by Nathaniel
Whitaker, against Mr Philip Jones a Magistrate of Anne-Arundel
County, The Question was put, whether the House doth concur
therewith. Resolved in the Affirmative.
A Question was likewise put, whether the further Consideration
of the said Report be referred to the next Session of Assembly, Re-
solved in the Affirmative.
The Bill entituled, An Act to remedy some Defects in an Inden-
ture of Bargain and Sale made and executed by Michael Curtis and
Sarah his Wife &a was read the second Time, and will pass.
The House adjourns 'til 2 of the Clock

The House met according to Adjournment
The Bill entituled, An Act for the Gauge of Barrels for Pork,
Beef, Pitch, Tar, and Tare of Barrels for Flour or Bread; was read
the second Time, passed, and sent to the Upper House, by Capt.
Ennalls, and Mr Hyland.
It being moved by a Member, to resume the Vote of yesterday in
relation to the 9 Pounds of Tobacco per Side.
A Question was put, Whether any Question shall be put concern-
ing it, Resolved in the Negative
