Ordered That M^r John Shaw deliver to Capt. Rob^t Berry io^h
Oakum for the Plater

That the western shore Treasurer pay to Rob^t Davis Eleven pounds
five shillings of the new Emission of this State in lieu of an Order
of the 9^th Inst, for four hundred & fifty Pounds
That the said Treasurer pay to Abraham Gorman thirty six
Pounds, seven shillings and six Pence of the said new Emission in
lieu of one thousand four hundred & fifty five Pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay to John Muir Esq^r one thousand
Pounds of the said new Emission to be expended in Clothing &^ca
for the Maryland Officers in the Cont^l Service and also the further
sum of one thousand five hundred Pounds of the said new Emission
on Account.
The Appointment of Donaldson Yeates Esq^r Dep^y Quarter Mast^r
G^l for this State by Tim. Pickering Esq^r Q^r Mast^r Gen^l approved
and ratified.

Sir We only received yours of the 15^th Ins^t this Morning. You
will supply M^r Donellan with Meat sufficient to issue at his Post. We
yesterday sent him a Sum of Money, if he should have Occasion for a
further Supply, it will be sent him. This will save you some Trouble
and be more regular. We depend on your Judgment in conducting
the Business you have on Hand, in the Manner you think most likely
to conduce to the public Good

Sir Your Appointment as Deputy Quarter master for this State
has been notified to us by Timothy Pickering Esq^r Quartermaster
General and we do approve of and ratify the same

pointment of Donaldson Yeates Esq^r Deputy Quartermaster for
this State. M^r Yeates we understand, is a Gentleman of Probity
and Industry & worthy of the Confidence you have reposed in him ;
We do therefore approve of and ratify the said Appointment.
