Sir. We shall be obliged to you to furnish the Commissioners of
Baltimore Town and Cap^t Keeports with two Teams for the Trans-
porting Flour and Cloathing to this City for the Use of the Conti-
nental Troops

[Council to Honble Board of War]

Gentlemen Several Applications have been made to us by the Sol-
diers belonging to this State, for Cloathing which they allege is due
to them, and, to support their Claim, have produced Certificates from
the Paymasters. We wish to be informed whether they are entitled
to Cloathing or Money in Lieu thereof and whether, if they are en-
titled to Cloathing we shall be justified in issuing it to them, agree-
able to the Certificates produced.

Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Thomas Harry,
John Tucker, Alexander West, and John West, recruits for the
I Reg^t & Peter Meguire a recruit for the 7 Reg^t I Suit of Cloaths
each the Bounty all^d by the Gen^l Assembly and also to Nathan Peak
John Taylor & Robert Baily of the 1 Regim^t each 1 p^r shoes.
That the said Commissary of Stores deliver to Walter Warfield
Surgeon to the 2^d Regim 2 p^r Stockings & 3 yds. Linen for Lining in
part of the Article &c^a
That the said Commissary deliver to Gabriel Gatworth formerly a
Sold^r in the 2 Maryl^d Reg^r 2 Coats in lieu of the like number which
were left by him in Annapolis and taken by order of the Govern^r &
Council.
That Capt. Geo. Keeports deliver to Walter Warfield Surgeon to
the 2^d Reg^r 3^ yds. Cloth, 3 yds Shalloon & 1 p^s Brittanies of the
2^d Quality in part of the Article &c^a
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Rob^t Reith Mess^r to the
Gov^r & Co^l one hundred and twenty five Pounds due him for 1 m^o
Salary to 1^st Inst.

Ordered That the Collector of the Tax for Prince Georges County
pay to Capt. William Dent Beall of the 6^th Regiment five thousand
Dollars to be expended in the Recruiting Service & Acc^d for
That Com^o Grason Deliver to Archibald Buchanan Esq^r I Wood
Compass, I Brass D^o 4 Powder horns 2 Lanthorns & 4 Swivels to
be paid for at the same Price which the like Articles to be sold by
the Gov^r & Council sell for.
