Mr James Waughop and Mr John Brannock appeared in the House.
The Bill entituled An Act for the further encouragement of Levies
for his Majesty's Service in the West Indies. Read the first time and
Ordered to lie on the Table.
On motion to bring in a Bill to provide a Fund for purchasing
Arms and Ammunition for Defence of the Province on the present
Emergency; Leave is given. Ordered that the Committee of Laws
prepare and bring in a Bill accordingly.
The Bill entituled An Act for the Trial of all matters of Fact in the
several Counties where they have arisen or shall arise; Read the first
time and Ordered to lie on the Table
Mr Henry Trippe hath leave of the House to go Home

cess of the British Arms in America, be prepared to be presented to
his most Sacred Majesty, and that Mr Calder, Doctor Carroll, Colo
Colvill and Colo King, prepare and bring in the same
Mr Calder from the Committee of Laws, brings in a Bill entituled
An Act for Raising and Issuing Money for maintaining his Majestys
Forces to be raised in this Province and Transporting them to the
Place of Rendezvous in the West Indies
Which was Read the first Time and Ordered to lie on the Table
