Province made at a Session of Assembly begun and held at the
City of Annapolis &ca which was read the first time and Ordered to
lie on the Table
The Bill entituled An Act for reviving an Act of Assembly enti-
tuled An Act for relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from
some Aggrievances in the Prosecution of Suits at Law &ca Read the
second time & will pass.
The House Adjourns until 2 of the Clock in the Afternoon

Post Meridiem

The House met according to Adjournment &ca and further ad-
journs until Monday Morning at nine of the Clock

Monday Morning September 27, 1/42

The House met according to Adjournment, all Members appeared
at the call except Mr Dulany who being sent for to require his Atten-
dance on this House, sent for Answer he was obliged to attend the
Upper House
Ordered that Mr Speaker issue his Warrant directed to the Secre-
tary of this Province to make out a Writ of Election directed to the
Mayor Recorder and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis to Elect a
Member to represent them in this General Assembly in the Room of
Daniel Dulany Esqr called to the Council Board
The Bill entituled An Act to enforce the Collection and Payment
of the Public Charge of this Province &ca Read the second time
and will pass sent to the Upper House by Colo King and Eleven
more
The Bill entituled An Act for reviving An Act Entituled An Act
for the Relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some Ag-
grievances in the Prosecution of Suits at Law &ca sent to the Upper
House by Mr Smith and Mr Hindman
Colo King and Mr Nicholas Goldsborough are added to the Com-
mittee of Laws
Daniel Dulany Esqr from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker
the following Message (See page 270)

Mr Smith from the Committee appointed to enquire into the Treat-
ment of the Prisoners in Anne Arundel County Goal acquaints
Mr Speaker that Committee had chosen Mr William Marshe for
Clerk, the House approves the Choice
