Colo Hammond from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker the
Bill entituled An Act to cut of and Bar the Entail of part of a cer-
tain Tract of Land called Williams's Range &ca Indorsed (See
page 180)
Which Bill was here Read and Passed for Ingrossing
The Bill entituled An Act for the Relief of Nicholas Hammond,
Peter Topping &ca Was Read the second time and will Pass sent to
the Upper House by Mr Denton and Major Henry
An Ingrossed Bill entituled An Act for the cutting of the Entail
and investing an Estate of Inheritance in Fee Simple in part of
A Tract of Land called Coopers Purchase in Thomas Spalding and
Catherine his Wife and to entail other Lands lying in Saint Marys
County in lieu thereof was Read and Assented to and sent to the
Upper House with the Paper Bill by Mr Read and Mr Swann
An Ingrossed Bill entituled An Act investing Archibald Douglas

of Cecil County son and Heir of William and Mary Douglas deceased
with an Estate in fee simple in the one Moiety of A Tract of Land
called the Level or Scutts Level lying in Baltimore County was Read
and Assented to and sent to the Upper House with the Paper Bill by
Captain Sheredine and Captain Gist
Mr Jacob Hindman a Member elected to serve in this present
Assembly in the Room of Mr John Brannock deceased appeared in
the House
Ordered that Colo Hooper and Captain Ennalls go to the Upper
House and see him qualified
