Gentlemen
One of the Executors of Coi Young late Treasurer of the Western
Shoar being come to Town with the Books of Accounts relating to
the 3d p hhd for purchasing Arms and Ammunition, We have now
appointed the honourable Col Matthew Tilghman Ward, Benjamin
Tasker Esqr and Coi James Hollyday to joyn such Members of Your
House as you shall appoint to enquire into the State and Application
of that Fund Signed p Order John Ross Cl Up H.

A Message from the Lower House by Messrs Denton and Wootton
By the Lower House of Assembly 18 July 1740
May it please Your Honours
We have appointed Col Robert King Mr Walter Smith, Capt"
Thomas Sheredine, Major Edward Sprigg, Mr Vachel Denton and
Mr Turner Wootton to joyn the Members appointed by Your House
to enquire into the State & Application of the Fund, relating: to the
3d p hhd raised for purchasing Arms & Ammunition who will be
ready to attend when and where Your Honours shall appoint
