Colo Hanson and Major Sprigg are desired to Acquaint his
Excellency the Governor a sufficient number of Members to com-
pose an House of Delegates are Convened in the Stadt House
Benjamin Tasker Esqr from the Upper House acquaints
Mr Speaker the Governor requires the Attendance of the Lower
House in the Council Chamber immediately
Mr Speaker left the Chair and with the rest of the Members of
the Lower House attended his Excellency who made the following
Speech ( See page 151)


Mr Speaker with the rest of the Members returned and re-assumed
the Chair
The House Adjourns until to Morrow Morning at nine of the
Clock

Mr Denton, Colo Hooper, Mr George Colo Colvil, Mr Henry,
Mr Stoughton, and Mr Calder a Committee of Laws

and Mr Smallwood a Committee of Elections and Priviledges
Mr Smith Colo Hanson Colo Hooper Mr Wootton and Mr Henry
Hall A Committee to enquire into the State and Condition of the
Arms and Ammunition and Inspect the Accounts relating thereto.
Colo Colvill Captain Caswell Mr Rumsey Mr Sheredine Mr Hyn-
son and Mr Pemberton A Committee to inspect the Accounts and
Proceedings of the Commissioners for Emitting Bills of Credit
established by Act of Assembly
Mr Stoughton, Mr Wilson Doctor Carroll Mr Joseph Hall
Mr Goldsborough Mr Magruder, Mr Pemberton and Mr Osborn
Sprigg A Committee of Aggrievances and Courts of Justice
Colo King, Major Sprigg Mr Denton Mr Wootton and Mr Shere-
dine a Committee of Accounts.
Ordered that Mr Calder Doctor Carroll and Colo Colvil prepare
an Address to the Governor on his Speech.
Mr Denton Ordered to acquaint the Reverend Mr Lake he is
desired by this House to Read divine Service Morning and Evening
during this Session
