Know all men by these p^ents th^t I Luke Barber of the prouince of
Maryland Physitian, haue ordayned, constituted & appoynted my
louing f reinds Randall Henson & Thomas Banks & by these p^ents I
doe ordeine, constitute & appoynt the s^d Randall & Thomas my true
& law full Attorneys, for me & in my name, & to my proper use &
behoofe to aske, sue for, leuy & recouer all bills, debts, dues &
accounts whatsoeu^e of, or belonging to mee the s^d Luke Barber,
As allso for mee & in my name & absence to take into their possion
all & euery p^eticular of my Estate (Viz) land, howses, cattle, horses,
hoggs, howsholdgoods, or any other thing or things whatsoeu^e of or
belonging to mee. And them to possesse till my returne from Eng-
land or further order from mee, or my heyres or assignes therein.
As allso to implead, imprison & ... of prison againe to deliuer any
persons indebted to mee. As allso after paym^t to giue full releases
& discharges. And likewise to possesse themselues of & w^th any
Cargoe of goods or Seruants, or any thing th^t shall in my absence bee
sent mee out of England. & to order & dispose thereof according,
to my priuate instructions gyuen to them from mee under my hand,
W^ch instructions is allso to bee their rule & warr^t for ordering, or
disposing of any & euery thing herein mentioned W^ch power &
Authority I doe hereby these p^ents ratify & confirme in as full &
ample manner, as if I my selfe were then & there actually present, att
the doeing or disposing of any thing herein mentioned. To the true
performance of which I the s^d Luke [Barber] have hereunto sett my
hand this 15 of ffebruary 1657
