mee in setling my family, & hath put mee to great straights for want
of it. Therfore I hope I shall bee noe longer delayd: for I doe not
loue treble, if I can auoyd it. The money yo^u know wee agreed for
betwixt Will^m Howes & my selfe w^th yo^u was fiue & fifty pownd
Sterl. in England & five thousand pownds of Tob. & cask here in
Maryland. Soe if I haue but halfe for my selfe & my man yo^u
are to pay mee Seauen & Twenty pownds ten shillings sterl in Eng-
land & Two thowsand fiue hund^d pownds of Tob. & cask here. And
what Tob. yo^u haue payd for mee out of it, M^r Land will allow out
of [sjomme M^r Land tells mee hee hath promised th^t I shall come &
giue ..... worke about laying yo^r flooers of yo^r howse: w^ch I am
