Walter Hall demands writt of Scire facias agst Anne Hammond
the Attorney of John Hammond her husband for 1166^l Tob. & Cask.
Writt as followeth to the Sheriffe of S^t Maries County, Ret. the
2^d Day of next Court, 20^th Aprill.
Csecilius &c: To Nicholas Gwyther gent", Sheriffe of the County
of S^t Maries. Because th^t Anne Hammond (Attorney of John
Hammond her husband) of Brittons Bay in New Towne hund^d
ought to haue payd to Henry ffox of the same place & hund^d afores^d
the summe of 1166^l of Tob in Cask uppon the 16^th of July 1656, as
appeareth to vs uppon view of the Records, w^ch are yett unpayd as is
alleaged. Wee Command yo^u th^t yo^u make knowne unto the s^d Anne
Hammond, th^t shee bee att Our Prouinciall Court on the 20^th of
Aprill next, wheresoeu⁶ it be held, to shew if shee haue any thing to
say, Why the s^d Tob. should not be leauyed uppon the Lands goods &
Chatties of her s^d husband, & to the Executo^rs of the s^d Henry be
deliuered according to the force & effect of the s^d Judgm^t, And haue
yo^u there the names of those persons by whom yo^u haue made this
knowne unto her, & this Our writt.
