The House met according to Adjournment &c.
The Governour Communicated to the House the Following An-
swer to the Address.
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly I thank you Heartily
for your Obligeing Address your kind wishes that my Administration
may be not only agreeable but Delightf ull to me Cannot but be very
acceptable and I assure you that my Pleasure and Satisfaction during
my Stay in the Province will always be in proportion to the Oper-
tunities, I have of promoting your Welfare and prosperity.
Col Hammond from the Upr Ho. Delivers Mr Speaker a petition of
William Walker and Others relateing to the Injurious Treatment of
Deer &c. Indorsed referred by the Upr House to the Consideration
of the Lower House which petition was here read & rejected.
Mr Magruder Hath leave of the House to go Home.
The House Adjourns untill 2 of the Clock in the aftenoon

Mr Goldsborough a Representative of Talbot County appeared in
the House this afternoon
Col Gale Mr Key Mr Trippe Mr Tilghman Mr Moale, and Mr
Stoddert are Appointed a Committee to Inspect the Accounts and
proceedings of the Commissioners for Emitting the Bills of Creditt
&ca
The House Adjourned untill to morrow Morning at 9 of the Clock.
