Post Meridiem, the House met according to adjournment,
on Reading the amendments proposed, by the upper House to the
bill Entituled, an Act for ascertaining the gauge of Barrels for pork
&c: the question was put whether this House agree to the Amend-
ments or not, Resolved in the Negative.
The bill Entituled, a Supplementary Act to the Act, Entituled,
an Act to limitt the Continuance of Actions in several Courts within
this province, and ascertaining the manner of takng the Evidence of
Sea faring men, and for granting appeals from the Chancery Court,
to the Governor and Council; read the second time and will not pass,
the bill Entituled An Act reviving an Act, entituled, an Act Con-
cerning Ordinaries, and for the better Regulating of Inn holders
and ordinary keepers within this province: read the second time
and will not pass.
