Mr Speaker Communicated to this House the following Letter
Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly on the very day of your
now meeting and not before I recd a packet from England Inclosing
a Copy of an Address presented by the president Council and As-
sembly of the Province of Pensilvania to his Majesty this Address
Contains so many misrepresentations to the prejudice of the Safety
and prosperity of this Province and to the Honour of this Govern-
ment that I think myselfe obliged to Acquaint you therewith and to
have it Layed before you and I doubt not but I shall find an Equal
zeal in you to Support the Honour of this Province and the Security
& Safety of its inhabitants on the Borders.
