full breach of non Compliance with the tenour of such Oath or
Affirmation as aforesaid that then the said Isaac Tunney William
Pratt Richard Standforth & Samuel Steel being Convicted as afore-
said shall upon Such Conviction as aforesaid be wholly Deprived
of any Benefit Intended him or them by this Law and shall from
thence forth be Lyable to be Prosecuted for any Debt or Demands
whatsoever in the same manner as if this Act had never been made
any thing to the Contrary notwithstanding. Provided always that
the Sherriffs of Talbot Charles and Queen Anns Counties shall be
first Satisfied their Imprisonment fees out of the Respective Effects
of the said Prisoners before any other Creditor or Creditors shall
have any Share of the Prisoners Effects, and if the said Prisoners
Effects shall not be Sufficient to satisfy the Sherriffs their Impris-
onment fees that then the said Isaac Tunney William Pratt Richard
Standforth and Samuel Steel shall satisfye & pay to the Sherriffs the
Residue of their Imprisonment fees Provided that the said Sherriffs
shall not prosecute or Imprison the said Isaac Tunney William
Pratt Richard Standforth & Samuel Steel within two years after
his or their Releasement any thing In this Act to the Contrary not-
withstanding.

An Act for Erecting a Town in Cecill County on the north side of
Sasafras River at a Place known by the name of Penningtons
Point on the Tracts of Lands Called Buntington and Happy
Harbour.
Whereas the Inhabitants of Cecill County have by their Petition
to this Generall Assembly set forth the many Benefits that may Arise
to themselves and others by having a Town Erected and Laid out on
the North side of Sasafras River in the said County known by the
name of Pennington Point and on the Tracts of Land Called Bunt-
ington and happy Harbour
Be it therefore Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Propry
by and with the Advice and Consent of his Lordships Governour and
the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of the
same that Collonell John Ward, Master Joshua George, Master
John Baldwin Master Peregrine Frisby and Master Alphonso Cos-
den or any three of them shall be and are hereby appointed Commis-
sioners for Cecill County aforesaid and are hereby Authorized and
Empowered as well to agree for the buying & purchasing thirty
Acres of Land out of the Tracts aforesaid and such part not Exceed-
ing thirty acres as Lyes most Convenient to the said River as for
Surveying and Laying the same out in the most Convenient manner
into Sixty Equal Lotts to be erected into a Town And Be it fur-
ther Enacted that the Commissioners aforesaid herein before nom-
inated and Appointed or the Major part of them are hereby empow-
ered sometime before the Last day of December which shall be in the
