The Bill Entituled an Act for further Assessment on Taxable
Persons of King and Queen Parish in St Marys and Charles County's
&c. Severally read and passed for Ingrossing.
The House Adjourns till to morrow morning nine of the Clock.

The House met according to Adjournmt
The Members were Called all present as Yesterday.
The Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act and Continuing an Act of
Assembly Entituled an Act for the Speedy recovery of Small Debts
&c. The Ingrossed Bill Entituled an Act for raiseing a Duty of three
pence p Hogshead on all Tobacco Exported out of this Province &c
The Ingrossed Bill Entituled an act Continuing an Act of Assembly
of this Province Entituled an Act for the Relief of poor Debtors &c.
The Ingrossed Bill Entituled a Supplementary Act to the Act
Entituled an Act for the Emitting and makeing Current 90000
pounds Current money &c and to Restrain some Evill practices under
Coulour of the said act Committed read Assented to and sent to
the Upr House by Col Hanson and Mr Mathews.
The Ingrossed Bill for Continuing an Act of Assembly cf this
Province Entituled An Act to prevent Cutting up Tobacco Plants
Destroying of Tobacco and Tobacco Houses and for ascertaining
the Punishment of Criminals guilty of the said Offences &c. The
Ingrossed Bill for Building a Publick Gaol in Annapolis &c The
Ingrossed Bill relateing to the placeing and building a Prison in
Somerset County. The Bill Entituled an Act Enableing the Com-
missioners, or Trustees for Emitting the Bills of Credit Established
by Act of Assembly &c. Severally read assented to Sent to the Upr
House by Mr Magruder and Mr Stoddert. Mich' Howard Esqr from
the Upr House Delivers Mr Speaker the following Message. [See
page 418.]
Mr Dulany Col Gale Mr Key and Mr Richard Francis appointed
by this House last Session to prepare an Address to the Lord Pro-
prietary, Concerning the Importation of European Salt are appointed
this Session to Join with Michael Howard Esqr in preparing the
same.
The following Message [See page 420.]
Sent by Mr Richard Francis and Mr Key
A Bill Entituled an Act to prevent makeing Seconds read first time
and ordered to Lye on the Table Col Hammond from the Upr Ho.
Delivers Mr Speaker the following Message. [See page 420.]
